We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirndess and call it love.

All Dressed Up...

Our sweet babies clean up pretty good! My poor children have to endure me trying to make their outfits somewhat match... Then they have to endure the picture taking as well!!!!

Look Who's Two!!!

It took me long enough to take a good picture of Allison... It doesn't help that she usually REFUSES to cooperate for the camera! This time she really did! Isn't she cute?

Happy Birthday Grandpa John

Happy Birthday to Grandpa John!!!! Allison and I have been practicing the happy birthday song for several days in preparation for this happy birthday blog post. We attempted several times to film her singing happy birthday to Grandpa.... It was a bit of a disaster. Fortunately, I have candy stored away for times such as these. Allison finally sang after I promised her a sucker, as you can see...

Snow Day!!!!!!

We had a FABULOUS time in the snow today. We made a tiny snowman, soon demolished by the one and only Tinkerbell Wenzel. Not only did she eat the snowman's carrot nose, but she ran off with its stick arms.

Time in Carlsbad

After Christmas, the kiddos and I headed down to Carlsbad. We had a great time with "Mamaw Piggy," Bapa Tex, Uncle Justin, Aunt Kaysha, and Uncle Kaelan. Cole came down too on New Year's Eve after he finished his vet internship with his dad, AND after he and Tinkerbell went bird hunting.

Poor MaMaw Piggy probably got tired of completing Allison's piano requests. Allison also requested that those listening should sing along as well.

Allison, those are pretty big shoes to fill!!!!

Justin and his puppy dog Enzo. We tried to teach him to sit, I think he may be catching on (the dog, not uncle Justin...hehehe)!

The kids with their one and only Uncle Justin

"We're so glad when Daddy comes home...."

They played with this box FOREVER!!! They asked Bapa Tex to dump them, and re dump them over and over and over again...

Special Delivery!!!!!!

Allison likes to give Brett kisses (especially right before she socks him...)

Christmas time...

This year for Christmas we were able to go spend some time in New Mexico, both in Silver City and Carlsbad. Cole was able to work with his dad doing "vet stuff," and we were able to play with cousins, aunts, uncles and of course grandmas and grandpas!!! Overall, we had a great time.

Aunt Mego and the girls making monkey bread. Avery is quite the little cook. She spent almost 2 hours cutting out Christmas cookies all by herself!

All the girls wearing the aprons Grandma Connie made them! Aren't they too cute???

Now there's something that is REALLY cute!!! Okay okay, maybe I'm a little partial...isn't he getting big?
