We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirndess and call it love.

Out of the Mouth of My Babies...

Allison: "Momma not the boss."
Momma: "Well then who is?"
Allison: "Allison the boss."

There you have it folks, the Wenzel Kingdom is no longer under the reign of the Queen Mother, the ever so powerful daughter has taken over. Might this be a warning to those who wish to visit in the future! (She has also started saying "Don't tell me what to do..." That is brought to you by her father---)

Brett's new words are "up" and "help." He always runs over to the couch when I sit down and whines and even sometimes yells for me to pick him up. We decided to put a word to that yelling and whining... Now he says "uuuh" when he comes over to the couch. Then same sort of whining and yelling has been occurring when he can't do something by himself... so, we taught him "help" (it sounds a lot like up, but it works). It is like a fun guessing game for him, he says "help" and it is our job to figure out what he needs help with. If we get it right, we are rewarded with that heart-melting Brett-Brett smile and giggle:) I just love that boy!

Happy Birthday to Aunt Denise!!!!!

This birthday song is brought to you by the one and only Allison Wenzel.... Of course she is so popular that it took extreme negotiations to convince her take time out of her busy schedule to sing (aka candy bribery). Happy Birthday Aunt Denise:):):):)

(ps sorry about the bad lighting)

Must be Grandpa John's Grandson

Apparently Brett LOVES ice cream. He loves it so much it causes him to shake.... please watch closely....hehehe

Valentine's Day 2011

We decided to make our very own "cheesy" Valentine cards this year. Hope you enjoy...

Valentine's Day Treats

We decorated cookies...

And we ate cookies...
Allison couldn't decorate them fast enough for Brett to eat them... imagine that :)

Happy Birthday Auntie Kaysha!!!!!

It is Auntie Kaysha's 20th birthday... In honor of her birthday, I've found a piglet (Kaysha LOVES pigs) that I would be willing to loan her for a short time:

Allison worked very hard on singing happy birthday to Auntie Kaysha. As we all know, Allison can be a bit fiery and somewhat stubborn (I wonder who she gets that from????) Ah-hem... She insisted on singing happy birthday to Uncle Kaelan, and not to Auntie Kaysha... When the part came "Happy Birthday dear......" she continued to say Kaelan" as she flashed her devious smile and gave a quick laugh... Finally I had to bribe her with Mickey Mouse Club House, and this is what we got :)

My funny funny boy!!!!

My little man is too funny, he is starting to run around and climb on things (especially his sister's bed!!!). He loves to walk on the kitchen floor while he is wearing a sleeper because he slides around and then falls. He giggles like crazy when he does it......

He is a little nut!!!!
(*please note the conglomeration of items Allison insists on sleeping with: princess dresses, barbies, frogs, blankets...etc)

Introducing PIG BOY and PRINCESS GIRL

Both of my kiddos really like to play dress-up (perhaps we need to find a few more manly outfits for Brett). This is what they came up with yesterday. I think they are pretty cute!!!! Then, what do I know, I'm just their mother :):)

The latest from the mouths of my babies...

SICK!!!!!
Cole is always giving that little girl of his "smooches..." she always requests "smooches" before bed, or before somebody leaves for the day. Apparently the other night she was DONE with the smooches because after Cole showered her with his smooches, she glared out of the corner of her eye and said "SICK!!!!!!!!"

"Not right now..."
Leave it to your children to show you what phrases you say all the time... Allison, Brett and I were driving home yesterday afternoon from daycare, and Allison was listing off things she wanted to do... "How about..." As the conversation went on, she seemed to answer her own question by saying "Not right now... Maybe later!" Perhaps I say that a BIT too much, what do you think???

Thank You!
My little Brett's new favorite phrase is "Thank You..." He says it in the deepest manly voice he can muster (he has to make up for that overly tender heart of his)... He says it all the time, especially when he gets something to eat, he even says it when he gets picked up.... I love that boy :)

"Look At Me"
Once again, leave it to Allison to repeat the phrases we use most frequently.... She was very intent on telling Cole something, so she took his face in her hands and said "LOOK AT ME!!!" and proceeded to babble on about the important information she had to share (perhaps she was secretly letting her daddy have it.... we may never know!!!)
