We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirndess and call it love.

Allison's new trick...

Allison can now pull herself up onto things... couches, Mom, Dad, the stairs, etc... We are not sure whether to be excited or nervous about her new mobility:) Life is definitely an adventure.

Let's go to the zoo!!!

We took Allison to the zoo for the first time on Saturday. We were so excited to take her that we woke her up early from her nap. She really enjoyed the birds because she could see them move. Manhattan Sunset Zoo is not very big, but we spent two hours there. That could be due to the fact that Daddy had to read ALL of the signs, but I was told that is what Dads do.

Allison really loved the ducks and flamingos

This was the chimpanzee exhibit. There was a cute mama chimp holding her sweet baby down in the front (no, I am not talking about Allison and me:)

Hair-do's and don'ts

So we had our first tiny rubber band experiences. Allison has done well. Ponytails and pigtails are great until it is time to take out the rubber bands and the end of the day. Let's just say mommy needs some practice. Meanwhile...isn't her hair cute:)

Jumping Jumping Jumping

I finally got her jumper ready for use. She loves it. It took her a couple of days to figure out how to jump, but now she really goes. Hopefully a video of her will follow soon.

K-S-UUUUUUUUUUUUU

We had a great time at our first KSU football game. Allison did well too. She enjoyed entertaining all the KSU fans around her!!!! She even clapped when everyone around her clapped. I guess some go to watch football, some go to socialize....

Tail-gating at the Vet Alumni tent

Over 50,000 fans attended the game
