We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirndess and call it love.

Merry Christmas from the Wenzel's

We had a wonderful Christmas.  We were so blessed that Cole didn't have to go to the vet school on Christmas Eve OR Christmas day.  Thomas and Ruthie spent Christmas Eve with us.  We ate pizza, looked at lights, and played Cribbage.  As you will note in the video on Christmas morning...Allison and Brett were more concerned about where Ruthie and Thomas were than the fact that Santa had come...sheesh :)

Santa built a house out of Brett's lincoln logs and left a train :)

the after-math :)

The kids got goggles in their stockings :)  so Cole thought Brett should try them out in the tub :)

Let it Snow...Let it Snow....Let it Snow!

Bretty Turns 3

This is what a three year old looks like *sigh*....yet another trip to Varsity Donuts for a birthday celebration!

When there were 1 and 3/4 kids :)  yay pregnancy

How many kiddos do we have?

Last time I checked, the Cole and Lacey Wenzel family only had two kids....yet I got sent to the store late one evening because there were not enough light sabers for THREE kids :):)  Cole (aka kid number 3), Brett and Allison had a great time with their battles in the dark!

Allison turns 4

Time sure goes by fast.  Too fast.  She has gotten SOOOOO big :)

We stopped by Varsity Donuts before preschool :)

Remember how little she used to be?

Uncle Cal and Aunt Megan Came to Visit...

One week later.... Uncle Cal and Aunt Megan came to visit to celebrate Brett and Allison's birthdays, and to go to the K-State vs. Texas game!

Once again...Varsity Donuts!  It is a guarantee that if you come and visit, you will have to eat a donut with us!

Cal and his "mini me"

Birthday cakes for the birthday party :)  Brett picked a funfetti cake mix, and Allison picked strawberry.  A special thanks to Aunt Memo for the decorating help:)

Waking up from their nap to begin the party!

Getting ready to eat!  The kids asked for chocolate milk, cheese, chips, craisins, crackers and fruit.  So that is what we ate :)

Happy Birthday to you......

Daddy, Uncle Cal and Aunt Megan went to the football game :)  We won and we're going to the Fiesta Bowl (apparently the crowd starting throwing tortillas when they won...WEIRDOS..I don't think we are in New Mexico anymore)

The stadium rushed the field after the game :)

While they were at the game, Brett, Allison and Mommy went to Hobby Lobby and discovered fixings for miniature Christmas Trees :)
